    Minutes:

    The Director for Economy and Environment reported upon planning application 14/01209/OUT for outline planning permission (by means of access only) for the erection of 70 dwellings at land at Dean Farm, Badger Lane, Rochdale.

     

    The Sub-Committee considered the views of Mr. J. Boakes and Mr. N. Longden who addressed Members on behalf of the objectors to the application.

     

    The Sub-Committee considered the views of Mr. J. Coe who addressed Members on behalf of the applicants.

     

    DECIDED – That the Sub-Committee is minded to approve the application and that it therefore be referred to the Licensing and Regulatory Committee for determination in accordance with the Council’s Scheme of Delegation.

    i)         Notification that the following appeals have been lodged:

     

    • Land opposite the Croft, Rooley Moor Road – erection of an agricultural building.

     

    ii)         Notification that the following appeals have been dismissed:

     

    • 187 Yorkshire Street, Rochdale – Change of use from office to restaurant at ground and first floor levels including alterations to front and side elevations.

     

    • 108A Whitworth Road, Rochdale – Application to allow hot food takeaway to open between 11.30 hours and 01.00 hours Monday to Thursday, 11.30 hours - 03.00 hours Friday and Saturday, and 11.30 hours to 01.00 hours on a Sunday.

     

    • 48 Ashmount Drive, Rochdale – Two storey side and single storey front extensions to dwelling.

     

    iii)    Notification that the following appeals have been allowed:

    The Director of Economy and Environment Services reported that the Planning Inspectorate had received a planning appeal in respect of land opposite the Croft, Rooley Moor Road, Rochdale – erection of an agricultural building.

     

    The Director of Economy and Environment Services reported that the Planning Inspectorate had dismissed the following planning appeals:

     

    a.    187 Yorkshire Street, Rochdale – Chang of use from office to restaurant;

    b.    108b Whitworth Road, Rochdale – application to allow hot food takeaway to vary its opening hours;

    c.    48 Ashmount Drive, Rochdale – Two storey side and single storey front extensions to dwellings.

     

    DECIDED – That the planning appeals be noted.
