DECIDED - The Minutes of the meeting held on 20th October 2014 were approved.
The Director of Customers and Corporate Services reported on the requirements of the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013.
DECIDED - 1) the Licensing and Regulatory Committee is the appropriate body to receive any representations made under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 Act and
2) the making of the consequential amendments to the Council’s Constitution is delegated to the Monitoring Officer.
The Director of Economy and Environment reported on submitted planning application 13/01214/FUL, for the erection of one detached dwelling on land adjacent to Windy Ridge, Blackstone Edge Old Road, Littleborough.
There were no objectors present and the agent for the applicant addressed the
DECIDED – that (1) the Committee is minded to grant planning permission
subject to the conditions set out within the submitted report and subject to the
completion of a planning obligation under Section 106 of the Town & Country
Planning Act to secure the provision and maintenance of recreational open space in accordance with the Council’s open space policies.
(2) the Head of Planning be authorised to issue the decision notice upon
completion of the planning obligation to secure the above purposes.
