The Director of Economy and Environment reported on submitted planning application 14/01427/HOUS for the installation of a roller shutter gate to the rear yard on Tonge Street at 51 Aspinall Street, Heywood.
The representatives of the objectors and the agent for the applicant addressed the Committee. With the consent of the Chairman, Councillor Wardle spoke on behalf of the Ward Councillors.
Councillor Rush spoke as Ward Councillor and left the room, having declared a personal interest.
DECIDED - that planning permission be granted, with a recommendation that the owner remove the white line painted on the road and the signs attached to the wall.
Reserved matters application following outline approval
The Director of Economy and Environment reported on submitted planning application 14/01440/REM, a reserved matters application following outline approval 09/D52030 (for appearance, landscaping, layout and scale), for the erection of an urban distribution centre (Use Class B8) including ancillary office space, parking, landscaping, cycle stores, and boundary treatments on land Off Hill Top Road, Heywood.
The representative of the objectors addressed the Committee. The applicant was not present.

DECIDED – that planning permission be granted subject to the conditions detailed within the submitted report and subject to the installation of an acoustic fence along the boundary with Gloucester Avenue.
