Erection of one pair of semi detached dwellings at land adjacent to 115 Shaw Road, Rochdale.

    Minutes:

    The Director of Economy presented a report detailing planning application

    16/00355/FUL, for the erection of one pair of semi-detached dwellings

    (resubmission of 15/00128/FUL) at land adjacent to 115 Shaw Road, Rochdale,

    OL16 4SH.

     

    In introducing the report, the planning officer referred to the site visit undertaken by

    Members of the Committee and updated Members in relation to the update on Page 10, stating that Rochdale Township Planning Sub-Committee had resolved to grant planning permission which was not contrary to the officer’s recommendation as stated within the submitted report.

     

    The Committee considered the views of the applicant’s agent, Mr Ben Thornley

    who addressed the Committee in relation to the application.

     

    The Committee also considered the views of Balderstone and Kirkholt Ward Member, Councillor Farnell who addressed the Committee objecting to the application.

     

    DECIDED – That planning permission be granted subject to the conditions detailed in the submitted report.

Two Storey side/rear extension and single storey rear extension (resubmission of 16/00525/HOUS) AT Broaoaks, Norden Road, Rochdale, OL11 5NT.

    The Director of Economy presented a report detailing planning application

    16/00935/HOUS for a two storey side/rear extension and a single storey rear extension resubmission of 16/00525/HOUS at Broad Oaks, Norden

    Road, Rochdale, OL11 5NT.

     

    In introducing the report, the planning officer referred to a site visit undertaken by Members of the Committee earlier in the day.

     

    There were no objectors present at the Committee.

     

    The Committee considered the views of the applicant, Mr and Mrs Collins who addressed the Committee in relation to the application.

     

    DECIDED - That the application for planning permission be refused for the reasons detailed in the report.

Application to vary condition 4 of planning permission in order to amend the opening hours at 45 Tweedale Street, Rochdale.

    The Director of Economy presented a report detailing planning application

    16/00947/VRCON for an application to vary condition 4 of planning

    permission 13/00186/FUL in order to amend the opening hours to 11:00am to

    12:00am Saturday to Thursday and 11:00am – 01:00am Friday to Saturday with

    additional change in the month of Ramadhan (May/June 2017) from 4pm – 02:00am

    at 45 Tweedale Street, Rochdale, OL11 1HH.

     

    In introducing the report, the planning officer referred to the site visit undertaken by

    Members of the Committee and updated Members in relation to that an additional letter of support which had been received since the publication of the agenda as detailed in the update to submitted planning application.

     

    There were no objectors present at the Committee.

     

    The Committee considered the views of the applicant’s representative, Ms S Ashraf 

    who addressed the Committee in relation to the application.

     

    The Committee also considered the views of Milkstone and Deeplish Ward

    Member, Councillor Zaman who addressed the Committee in relation to the application.

     

    DECIDED - That the application for planning permission be granted for a temporary period subject to conditions to be deferred and delegated to the Chief Planning Officer.
