To consider the minutes of the meeting of the Heywood Township Committee held on 21st July 2020. Additional documents: Minutes: Further to the minutes of the meeting held on June 2020, in relation to the Heywood Township Committee meeting held on 10 March 2020, the Township Officer requested that in relation to item 41, it be recorded that following delegation of the matter the balance of the Capital funding allocation be allocated to the West Starkey Street / Bamford Road Junction project.
Resolved That the minutes of the meeting of the Heywood Township Committee held on 15 June and 21 July 2020 be approved as correct records. |

Sites of Biological Importance Update To consider the report of the Director of Economy Minutes: Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Economy which sought approval to extend the existing Plumpton Wood Site of Biological Interest to include an additional 0.6 hectares due to the inclusion of additional areas of scrub and woodland around the edges of the site.
Alternatives considered To not approve the extension.
Resolved That approval be given to the extension of the Site of Biological Interest at Plumpton Wood to include an additional 0.6 hectares as detailed within the submitted report.
Reason for resolution The area in question had been identified by experts as being of local biodiversity value. |

Secondary School Places 2021 and 2022 Report of Director of Children’s Services regarding the provision of secondary school places in the Borough in 2021 and 2022 – for information. Minutes: Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Children’s Services setting out proposals for the expansion of secondary school places to meet expected demand in 2021 and 2022.
