To consider the Minutes of the Sub-Committee held 19^th December 2019.

Resolved:

That the minutes of the meeting of the Middleton Township Devolved Funding and Devolved Services Sub-Committee held 19^th December  2019 be approved and signed as a correct record.

To consider applications for funding from the Middleton Township Fund 2019/2020.

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Director of Neighbourhoods which provided an update on revenue and capital expenditure, commitments and balances of Middleton Township Funds 2019/20 and to enable the Sub-

Committee to consider the allocation of funds to proposed projects.

Alternatives considered:

In considering the report, Members could decide whether or not to approve the allocation of funds to projects.

Resolved:

1.     That the expenditure, commitments and balances for Middleton Township revenue and capital funds as detailed in Appendix 1 and 2 of the report be noted;

2.     That the decisions made under delegated authority as detailed in Appendix 3 of the report be noted;

3.     That it be noted that the Townships and Communities Manager has assessed proposed projects to be considered for funding against the criteria of eligibility for the Middleton Township Fund, the priorities of the Township and that any specific risks had been identified in the report;

4.     That the applications for Township Funds be dealt with as follows:-

To consider that the press and public be excluded from the remaining part of the meeting pursuant to Section 100(A)4 of the Local Government Act 1972 on the grounds that discussions may involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the provisions of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 and public interest would not be served in publishing the information.

Resolved:

That the Press and Public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business, in accordance with the provisions of Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended.

Reason for the Decision:

Should the press and public remain during debate on this item there may be a disclosure of information that is deemed to be exempt under Parts 1 and 4 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

Director of Neighbourhoods to update the Sub-Committee on the Highways Programme

The Committee considered a report of the Director of Neighbourhoods, which detailed a proposed highways programme for the Township in 2020/21 and 2021/22.

That the report be noted.
