Middleton Township Funds 2020/21 To consider the report of the Director of Neighbourhoods Additional documents:
Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Director of Neighbourhoods which provided an update on revenue and capital expenditure, commitments and balances of Middleton Township Funds 2019/20 and to enable the Sub- Committee to consider the allocation of funds to proposed projects.
Alternatives considered:
In considering the report, Members could decide whether or not to approve the allocation of funds to projects.
Resolved: 1. That the expenditure, commitments and balances for Middleton Township revenue and capital funds as detailed in Appendix 1 and 2 of the report be noted; 2. That it be noted that the Townships & Communities Manager has assessed proposed projects to be considered for funding against the criteria of eligibility for the Middleton Township Fund, the priorities of the Township and that any specific risks had been identified in the report; 3. That the applications for Township Funds be dealt with as follows:- a) Tackling Minds – allocation of £2719 from the Revenue Projects Fund approved; b) Grimshaw Lane/Wood Lane Waiting Restrictions – allocation of £4000 from East Ward Capital Funds (2021/2022 allocation); c) Middleton Holiday at Home – allocation of £9440 (in addition to the £5560 underspend from this years allocation) from the Revenue Events Fund. 4. That the allocation of the remaining balances of Middleton Township Funds for the purchase of Environmental Crime CCTV cameras with the final decision delegated to the Middleton Township Chair and Vice Chair to agree the specifics of the project be approved.
