Minutes:

Councillor Peter Rush declared a pecuniary interest in Agenda Item 6 the Skills4Sport Programme application and left the room during the discussion and vote, Councillor Dutton took the Chair during this item.

 

Councillor Carol Wardle also declared a pecuniary interest in Agenda Item 6, Darnhill Youth Provision application and left the room during the discussion and vote.

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Director of Neighbourhoods which provided an update on revenue and capital expenditure, commitments and balances of Heywood Township Funds 2019/20 and to enable the Sub-

Committee to consider the allocation of funds to proposed projects.

 

Alternatives considered: In considering the report, Members would consider whether or not to approve the allocation of funds to projects as appropriate.

 

RESOLVED

 

 

1)    That Members note the expenditure, commitments and balances for Heywood Township revenue and capital funds in Appendix 1, 1A and 2.

 

2)    That Members note decisions made under delegated authority as detailed in Appendix 3 of the report.

 

3)    That Members consider and approve, refuse or defer the allocation of funds to proposed projects detailed in Appendix 4 of the report.

 

4)    Members note the Townships & Communities Manager has assessed proposed projects to be considered for funding against the criteria of eligibility for the Heywood Township Fund, the priorities of the Township and any specific risks have been identified (information detailed in Appendix 4).

 

5)    That the applications for Township Funds be dealt with as follows:
