At this point in the proceedings, Councillor Winkler joined the meeting. Councillor Winkler took no part in the discussion and voting on this matter.

 

It was MOVED and SECONDED that the application be APPROVED against officer’s recommendation.

 

Reason:  The property is not out of character with other dwellings in the area and the extension in question would future-proof the property to make it suitable for the family’s future changing needs and circumstances and conform it to development plan.

An additional material consideration (colour change) be implemented within six months from granting planning permission.

 

On being put to the vote, it was UNANIMOUSLY cast IN FAVOUR of approval.

 

DECISION: That planning permission be GRANTED, subject to the colour change to the property extension be implemented within six months from approval.

 

NOTES:

  1. Applicants attended the meeting and addressed the Committee on this application;
  2. A Ward Councillors attended the meeting and addressed the Committee in support of the application.
