Environmental Management Satisfaction Survey Minutes: The 2018 Street Cleaning Services Satisfaction Survey is the first of a series of three; the Street Services Survey and The Parks and Horticultural Surveys will be carried out over the next nine months. These surveys will help the Council’s Environmental Management Service to identify what is important to residents and help them to understand how they are performing. The survey will measure the effectiveness of the service and identify areas for improvement. Forms can be returned to any Council office or library. |

Open Forum Minutes: Promoting Social
Cohesion · Concern for residents’ safety as contractors’ vehicles are driving and parking on the footpaths on Bramhall Close. · The contractors’ vehicles are accessing the site from Bramhall Close and driving over and churning up the grass (which is private land). · Request for a barrier to be installed to prevent the above happening? · Residents state that it has only been two weeks since the planning decision and they are under the impression work on the site should not commence for a period of six weeks following the decision in case there will be a judicial review. · Councillor Davidson has already reported the issues to Planning. Action 1: Request advice from Planning Officers
regarding the above issues (Tracey Knight) · The work carried out by Balfour Beatty filling in pot holes is substandard and unacceptable; the repairs don’t last. · Is the Council taking action against Balfour Beatty for not fulfilling their contract (in relation to substandard repairs)? · Does the Council do quality checks on the highways repairs/work carried out by Balfour Beatty? · Where will the additional £12 million funding for road repairs be spent? · The resurfacing works on Rochdale Road, Firgrove has already started to deteriorate, a number of potholes have already formed, is the Council addressing this with Balfour Beatty? · A large pot hole on Kiln Lane, near Pennine Drive, has been reported a number of times. The area has been marked with white paint which has now worn away. When will this be filled? The

Sandringham Drive (described as dangerous), Ladyhouse Close (over the bridge), bottom of Kiln
Lane, Sir Isaac Newton Way, New Street, Ladyhouse Lane and Buckley Hill Lane. |
