Members are requested to approve the Minutes of the Meeting held on the 13 September 2023. Minutes: In relation to Minute No.15 it was noted that Committee Members had not yet received a synopsis of events, including details of delays, in relation to the concerns raised by Mr Mayne during the Open Forum.
RESOLVED:
1. That the minutes of the Rochdale South Township Committee meeting held on 13th September 2023 be approved as a correct record.
2. That the Senior Governance and Committee Services Officer be requested to contact the Council’s Environmental Management and Legal Services to provide a synopsis of events, relating to an objection against an application to reclassify an official public footpath into a bridleway, as detailed in the minutes of the Rochdale South Township meeting held on 13th September 2023.

Open Forum Half an hour has been set aside for members of the public to raise any Public Document Pack issues relevant to the business of the Committee and the Township. Minutes: There were no members of the public in attendance and no questions had been submitted.
The Chair welcomed Phil Heron, Director of Customer Experience, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) to the meeting and invited him to address the Committee.
The Director of Customer Experience explained that RBH representatives would be attending future Township meetings to hear residents’ concerns and strengthen communications with the Council. Members were invited to contact the Director of Customer Experience directly with any queries or questions.
Councillor Meredith wished to record his thanks to Yvonne Pickering, Community Safety Officer, RBH, the Police and the Council’s Youth Service for joint meetings held at Million Pavilion in relation to anti-social behaviour which had been occurring in Conrad Cole Road, Kirkholt. Councillor Meredith commended the excellent multi-agency, partnership working that had been undertaken and highlighted the benefits of a co-operative approach.
RESOLVED:
1. That the Senior Governance and Committee Officer be requested to circulate contact details for the Director of Customer Experience to Rochdale South Township Committee Members.
2. That Councillor Meredith’s expression of thanks to Community Safety, RBH, the Police and the Council’s Youth Service be noted. |

2024 - 2026 Highways LTP Capital Programme PDF 134 KB To consider a report of the Operation Manager Highways Maintenance. Additional documents:
Minutes: Consideration was given to a report of the Director of Neighbourhoods which sought approval of the proposed Highways Local Transport Plan (LTP) Work Programmes 2024 – 2026.
The Chair noted a number of inaccuracies in the report relating to Township areas / ward boundaries. It was therefore proposed to defer consideration of the report in order to amend the incorrect details with the Highways Scheme document.
RESOLVED: That the proposed 2024-2026 Highways LTP Capital Programme be deferred and submitted to Rochdale South Township Delegated Sub-Committee meeting on 29th November 2023.
