To make appointments to a number of Committees/Sub-Committees as part of the Council's corporate governance arrangements in support of the democratic process and decision-making arrangements. Members who are appointed to these bodies will be expected to have received appropriate development/training to enable them to carry out their roles effectively on whichever body they serve.
