The Council has a statutory duty to determine
and publish a Statement of Licensing Policy. The purpose of the
policy is to define how the responsibilities under the Licensing
Act 2003 are exercised and administered.
This reports explains the consultation responses received on the Council’s draft Statement of Licensing Policy, seeks agreement on the amendments and recommends adoption of the revised policy with publication by January 2021.
