Rochdale Housing Initiative (RHI) is a social enterprise, based in Rochdale. It was originally established a partnership between local housing associations, private developers, Rochdale Council and funding institutions, to help improve housing conditions locally as an integral part of Rochdale’s regeneration.
RHI works with a wide variety of housing and non-housing partners to improve housing choice for residents, improve the condition of properties, contribute to tackling worklessness, attract and maximise government investment, identify trends and opportunities in the housing market and deliver empty property work.
RHI’s empty property work in particular has gained a national reputation for delivering creative and cost effective solutions.
